Phil Hill was a Formula One racing champion and legend who also happened to be a Leica enthusiast. In this video, we chat with his son, Derek Hill, who holds a significant racing record of his own. Steve McCurry is the recipient of the 2011 Leica Hall of Fame award.
The prize is awarded to photographers who have rendered outstanding service to the Leica brand and to the genre of photography. For more than three decades, 61-year-old McCurry has been on the road as a documentary photographer at the world’s trouble spots and has obtained many awards for his work. Since 1986, Steve McCurry has been a member of Magnum Photos, the renowned photographic agency.Thanks to Leica A.G. for this video.

It also takes visitors to the store on a “journey” through Leica’s extraordinary 85-year history with the ‘Leica Story’ wall which captures the salient moments of history and displays the inner-workings that have made the camera sought after by top photographers and photo enthusiasts.

Deze film laat zien wat er mogelijk is om videoopnames te maken met een fotocamera. Nee niet zo maar een. De camera die hier is gebruikt is de Canon 5D. Voor post-productie is FinalCutPro gebruikt. (cc with magic bullet. export: everything 100 %, a bit more contrast, a little less brightness. Lenses: just a 50mm 1.2 with vario ND and a 24-70mm 2.8 – both Canon. Picture style neutral. Steve Jobs heeft zojuist tijdens de keynote op de WWDC 2010 in SF/USA de nieuwe iPhone 4 bekend gemaakt. Tijdens de keynote kwamen enkele van de nieuwe features aan bod. Vanaf juli kunnen we weer in de rij gaan staan in Nederland en het zelf gaan ervaren. Ben heel benieuwd.
